To mark the 7th anniversary of Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s tenure as Governor of Kogi State and to celebrate the milestone of the administration, the Bello Ambassadors Network (BAN), a foremost pro-Bello group, has extended their felicitations to the governor on his successful time in office thus far and the legacies he has built.
In a statement released by the BAN on Friday, they praised Governor Bello for his commitment to the development of Kogi State, and the country at large, citing his efforts to improve infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
The organization also commended the Governor for his dedication to uniting the people of Kogi and the country through his appointments across tribes and religions and promotion of gender-balanced governance.
Speaking in the statement by the BAN national coordinator, Anthony Edogbo, on behalf of the entire members of the group, he said, “Governor Bello has been a true leader for the people of Kogi State and the country at large. We are proud of the way he has served the state and his representation of Kogi State in the country and we are confident that he will continue to lead the state to greater heights in the remaining days in office.
“We will continue to be proud of the governor for his supports for young Nigerians and his attempts to ensure the youths take over the leadership of the country as he has achieved in Kogi State.
“In additional, we congratulate His Excellency for putting Kogi State and the country on the map of world-class health facilities.”
Bello was sworn in as governor of Kogi State on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 and was on Monday 27 Jan 2020 inaugurated for a second term.
