The Oma Igala Night held yesterday in Abuja FCT witnessed a strong political presence as Comrade Austin Okai, one of the most vibrant political activists, analysts, and emerging young politicians of the Igala nation, graced the historic gathering.

In his address, Comrade Austin Okai warmly welcomed traditional rulers, political leaders, critical stakeholders, and Igala youths who turned out in large numbers for the event. He described the gathering as more than a cultural celebration, noting that it represents a strategic political convergence of the Igala people at a time when unity and collective bargaining power are urgently needed.

Comrade Okai specifically commended Sunday Atabo, the chief organizer of the event, for his vision and tireless effort in promoting the ideology of togetherness, cultural pride, and political consciousness among the Igala people. According to him, initiatives such as Oma Igala Night are essential in rebuilding solidarity and repositioning the Igala nation within the broader political framework of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

Addressing the youths, Comrade Austin Okai issued a passionate call for love, unity, and disciplined political engagement. He urged Igala youths to rise above division, embrace a common purpose, and speak with one strong and coordinated voice in matters affecting their future. He emphasized that youth unity is the backbone of political relevance and sustainable development.

He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to the Igala cause, stressing that only through unity, strategic alignment, and collective action can the Igala people secure their rightful place in governance and decision-making.

Oma Igala Night, once again, proved to be not just a cultural event but a political signal—the Igala nation is awakening, organizing, and preparing to assert its strength.
