The Current State of Insecurity
The current state of insecurity is unbearable, with our farmers being chased away by Fulani herdsmen and our people living in fear of kidnappers and thieves. This is affecting our economy and social well-being, and we need development, not violence and fear.
A Call to Action for Our Leaders
We implore the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Senators representing Kogi East, House of Representatives, House of Assembly, Dekina Local government Chairman, and Councilors of Dekina Local government to join forces to tackle the insecurity plaguing Dekina LGA.
Unity and Collaboration
We appeal to the Ata Igala, His Royal Majesty HRM, Alaji Mathew Oguche Akpa II Gabaiduu, and all traditional rulers in the nine local government areas to work together with security agencies to tackle insecurity and promote peace coexistence in Igala Land.
Community Involvement
Furthermore, we urge the Igala Cultural Development Association (ICDA) and other socio-cultural groups to unite, fight insecurity, and bring peace to various communities.
