The ongoing legal tussle between the candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Prince Abubakar Audu in the last governorship election in Kogi State and the incumbent, Captain Idris Wada may come to a strategic end this week.

If the Appeal Court fails to deliver judgement on the fierce legal battle this week, the case may be as good as dead.

Appeal Court judges will embark on their annual vacation on 16th July and will not resume before the expiration of the appeal filed by Audu and his party, ACN.

Kogireports.com gathered that ACN leaders at state and national levels are pressing necessary buttons to ensure the Appeal Court deliver judgement by Tuesday.

Though the  Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, Justice Lawal Gummi, has nominated two judges who will hold special sittings for hearing of urgent cases during the annual vacation of the court same is yet to be done by the Appeal Court.
