The National Coordinator, ‘Atiku Change The Change’, Kenechukwu Nwadinobi, has lauded the victory of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election held in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar polled a total of one thousand, five hundred and thirty two votes to beat his closest rival, Alhaji Waziri Aminu Tambuwal who scored a total of six hundred and ninety three votes.
Nwadinobi in a telephone conversation with our correspondent, said that Atiku’s victory is a well deserved one, saying that the nation need the person of Atiku to change the negative narratives of the country.
“His Excellency Atiku Abubakar deserves the victory as he is the most experience, prepared and equipped to deliver not just the victory for the PDP in the forthcoming general election, but, he is also the right person for the job at this time of our history as a nation.
“Our nation is passing through a lot of challenges, difficulties and set backs, we therefore needs an experience, prepared and tested hands to help navigate us from impending disaster and calamity.
“Atiku as a great bridge builder, nationalistic leader, highly detribalized person, will surely bring back our lost glory as a united, peaceful and strong nation.
“He will rebuild our economy, strengthen our security, create jobs and employment opportunities, restructure Nigeria for prosperity and progress. He will get Nigeria working again,” he assured.
He called on the electorates to vote wisely in 2019, saying that the power to send away bad leaders from power is in their hands and advised them to use their PVCs wisely.
