The Kogi State House of Assembly has given approval for the State Government to obtain N2 billion loan from Access Bank.
The loan was approved on Tuesday at plenary.
In addition, the lawmakers approved the state government’s request for consideration and approval to adjust 2020 reversed budget.
This is contained in a summary of activities obtained from Abel Olushola, a media assistant to the Speaker, Mathew Kolawole.
The information revealed that the House gave its approval and passed the reversed budget and passed same into law at Wednesday’s plenary session.
After the speedy approvals, the House adjourned till 28th of May, 2020 for virtual sitting, while it will return to chamber on 4th of June, 2020.
