Following an overnight announcement on the cancellation of a planned protest by Kogi State University students, the students have invaded the facebook timeline of their SUG President throwing punches of accusation on him, especially that he fooled them on April 1st.
It would be recalled that the students had threatened to shut down Lokoja, the state capital, over the two months old strike embarked upon by the state institutions.
After the State Commissioner of Police, Wilson Inalegwu denied the students license to protest on the reasons of security threats, Omepa Phillips gave the students what they referred to as false hope.
At about 11pm on March 31st, Omepa enjoined the students to wait for his final update, and just in the middle of the night, he dropped the last straw.
