I appeal to members of the National Assembly from Kogi and Benue states to call the attention of Federal Government to the current sorry state of Ankpa-Emere-Adoka-Naka-Makurdi road.
My appeal should have been directed to the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his Benue state counterpart, but with the recent Federal government policy on the repair of Federal road, I will be directing my appeal to the Senator representing Kogi East, Alhaji Jibrin Isah Echocho and the member representing Ankpa federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims.
The Senator and Rep member should, in collaboration with their Benue state colleagues, step up legislative lobbying on the dilapidated 100km road, as a matter of urgency, to ease the plight of motorists and commuters in that axis.
This call has become very necessary following the continuous neglect and silence on the state of the road by stakeholders.
Please, come to the aid of the electorate in that location.
