The Kogi State Deputy Governor,Yomi Awoniyi, has described the appeal court verdict affirming Capt idris Wada as Governor as victory for the people.
According to Awoniyi, the time to forge ahead as a people with a common destiny is now, said this is not a time for the Government to be distracted again having passed numerous challenges in the last year.
The Deputy Governor called on the people to join hands with the Capt Wada administration in moving the state forward.
The Deputy Governor said in politics you win some and lose some, urged those aggrieved to bury their hatchet and join hands in the transformation agenda of the Capt Wada.
The Deputy governor thanked people of the state for their love,understanding & steadfastness for the Wada administration,adding that their support will be reciprocated with transparent and purposeful leadership.

The Governor who spoke through a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Abu Mike, commended the judiciary for serving as the bastion of democracy.
