The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ankpa-Omala-Olamaboro federal constituency in the 2019 general election, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims on Sunday donated the sum of one hundred thousand naira to Afor community in Enjema district of Ankpa local government area for their mosque project.
Hon Halims made the donation subsequent upon an appeal made by the Muslim community of the area while he was on an awareness visit to the “Halims Youth Forum” in Afor as part of his activities centered on winning the February 16th national assembly election.
While making the donation, the honorable urged the mosque committee to make judicious use of the money pointing out that the work of God is not to be taken for granted for whatever reason.
In a separate development, Hon Halims donated the sum of fifty thousand naira to the forum promising good days ahead for the community, local government and federal constituency in general while urging the people to vote massively for him and all the candidates of his party.
Hon Halims was accompanied by his Ankpa II state constituency representative and flag bearing counterpart as the latter donated a like sum for the community mosque project in addendum to thirty thousand Naira support.
