Honorable member representing Ankpa II constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu on Saturday cast his vote in exercise of his franchise during the Presidential and National Assembly elections at Enabo II polling center in Enabo, Enjema district of Ankpa local government area of Kogi state.
The honorable member who expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress, APC will convincingly win was conducted by the electoral officers while carrying out his civic duties during the early hours of Saturday.
Hon Rabiu Alfa while speaking to constituents shortly after casting his vote expressed satisfaction on the level of maturity, organization and calmness displayed at the polling center by both the electoral officers and the voters urging them to sustain peace throughout the process.
In his words, “I am impressed by the level of maturity and calmness in this polling unit. I urge you all to sustain it, especially that we are brothers and sisters before politics and I hope all other polling centers will be like this”.
Speaking further, he noted that “If the standard is maintained all over the country, we will make progress from this election in a way poised at deepening our democracy,” the honorable member asserts.
After admitting little complications in ballot paper as caused by many political parties, Hon Rabiu then advised the people to take their time and be patient to identify the party of their choice. Do not rush, be patient, go through the ballot paper carefully and identify the party of your choice,” he said.
