The National Chairman of Okenyi Development Association (ODA), Mr. Alhassan Godwin has described the Deputy Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed as a true leader with esteem leadership experience.
Alhassan, who made this known during the yearly get-together and community meeting of Okenyi Development Association in Okenyi, said if given the opportunity and voted again to represent Ankpa I State Constituency, Hon. Ahmed will ensure Ankpa local government area witness a tremendous development across the nook and crannies of the communities.
Mr. Joseph Sani, the Omaçhi Onu-Okenyi, who spoke on behalf of the Onu-Okenyi, assured Hon. Ahmed Ahmed of their total support.
He added that as 2019 election is gradually knocking on their doors, if the people indeed hope to go into the future with the expectation of a better leader for Ankpa I, they have to rejuvenate a new vision and hope, and Hon. Ahmed Ahmed is the new face of hope of the masses.
He said in the past they have witnessed bad leadership but with the coming of Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, the people have began to witness new ideologies with a man who believes in taking the issue of his people as a top priority.
Honorable Ahmed Ahmed, who started his speech by appreciating the elders, women and youths of ODA home and abroad who, he said, has always thrown their weight behind him, gave a breakdown of his constituency projects, motions and bills sponsored in the House and how it has positively affected the people directly.
Highlights of his infrastructural development projects, supply of equipment to health centres, rehabilitation of schools across Ankpa I constituency, and his projections for 2019 when elected for second term were presented to the gathering.
