The return bid of the serving member Representing Ankpa II State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu has gotten a major boost, with the endorsement of Hunters and Farmers Association in Enjema.
Hon. Rabiu is the APC candidate for the March 2nd election and having presently excited the the joint association, their resolution from a weekend held meeting was to vote massively for him.
Addressing the audience during the all inclusive meeting held at the Enabo residence of Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu, Suleiman Yusuf, leader of the farmers, commended the lawmaker for his responsive approach to lawmaking, a virtue he noted has attracted gains and immeasurable fortunes to the constituency.
According to him, they (farmers) cannot forget in a hurry the efforts made by the lawmaker to put a stop to farmers-Fulani clash in the area citing instances of the lawmaker’s timely interventions.
On his part, Mallam Husseini Yahaya Iye, who is the leader of the hunters, acknowledged the efforts made by Hon Rabiu in giving empowerment to youths and the women of the communities, stressing that the lawmaker is applauded for his educational assistance in the community.
Furthermore, he opined that the communities having seen the good works performed by the lawmaker, declared no vacancy in Ankpa II for other contestants and they all agreed to vote massively for him and the APC come February and March 2019.
In his response, Hon Rabiu thanked the Farmers and Hunters association for the endorsement which he described as a call for better representation urging them to very operational in demanding accountability from elected office holders.
