Onu Emekutu, Alh. Hassan Shaibu has appealed to member representing Ankpa I, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed to come to the aid of the community that has had to endure challenges with water supply for years.
Shaibu made the appeal when the lawmaker visited Emekutu in the course of his weekly constituency outreach program to communities in Ankpa 1.
The traditional leader informed Hon. Ahmed that the only water source the community have is the one coming out of the rock. They had to build a reservoir and a channel with pipes so that the water can flow from the rock to the reservoir, then the people can fetch.
He pleaded with the lawmaker to come to their aid.
The youth leader in the community, Mallam Khalid Shaibu described Hon. Ahmed Mohammed as a leader that understand the plight of his people.
“He is a man that listen to cry of the youths. We so much appreciate his effort and pray to Almighty Allah to guide and protect him for us. We assure him of our support and prayers anytime”, he said.
