Ankpa: Hon. Ahmed Mohammed Launches “Operation Water For All”

The Honorable member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency at the Kogi State House of assembly, Honorable Ahmed Mohammed on 1st January 2017, flag off construction of 12 boreholes to 12 communities across the five wards. Speaking at the flag off ceremony in his hometown, ABACHE-Ankpa LGA before proceeding to other communities, he said the major purpose of this project is to respond to calls and several requests made by the people of these communities. And this will ease their access to clean water and improve standard of living of the people in those communities.

The communities to benefit from this huge project are;

  1. Construction of a motorized borehole at Enarewo – Abache (Ankpa ward 2. Project ongoing).
  2. Construction of motorized borehole at Iyaya – Abache (Ankpa ward 2 Ongoing)
  3. Construction of motorized borehole at Amoke (Ankpa ward 2)
  4. Construction of motorized borehole at Ugolo – Ochinobi (Ankpa ward 2)
  5. Construction of motorized borehole at Otondo/Okenyi (Ankpa ward 2)
  6. Construction of motorized borehole at Ejinya-Ugbonobi – Ankpa LGA (Ankpa ward 2)
  7. Construction of motorized borehole at Angwa-Mission Street (Ankpa Township)
  8. Construction of motorized borehole at Ojiagba/Atuma – Ankpa (Suburb 2)
  9. Construction of motorized borehole at Ojuwo – Ankpa LGA (Suburb 2)
  10. Construction of motorized borehole at Ene’le community in Ankpa LGA (Ankpa ward 1)
  11. Construction of motorized borehole at Emere-Ankpa (Ankpa Ward 1)
  12. Construction of motorized borehole at Emanyi – Ankpa (Suburb 1)

He encouraged the youths in the respective communities to partner with the workers in ensuring that the projects are carried out effectively. While urging on the engineers to do a thorough job and to meet the needs of the people, he urges them to ensure that all jobs are completed and put to use before March 2017.
