Former banker, Angela Omokore, nee Ebagua, and wife of wealthy man, Bashorun Jide Omokore, is back on the social scene.
While her husband, the oil and gas mogul, has remained quiet after his brush with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Angela has indeed returned to stardom as she has been sighted in about two high octane events.
The Kogi-born Omokore owns a vast business empire with substantial investment in many key sectors of the economy, including upstream and downstream oil and gas industry, steel and iron rod, power distribution infrastructure and aviation. The money man, credited with staging one of the most expensive weddings in Dubai, has so gone quiet that many wonder where he is holed up.
Omokore, alongside Aluko, were two of the few businessmen that made a huge fortune in the oil sector while Diezani Alison Madueke called the shots at the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
