The ancient town of Idah was agog on Saturday with Anchor Carnival.
The carnival, which featured merit awards and rich cultural displays was the talk of the town. Deserving sons of Idah, Ibaji, Ofu and Igalamela/Odolu who have traceable achievements were honoured.

Omede has reportedly aided the employment of about 50 igala sons and daughters into Etisalat, while Soulover was recognised for his portable water projects which cut across the Old Idah and Dr. Samson Opaluwa was honoured for his regular award of scholarship.
