Your Excellency,
Governor Yahaya Bello
Dear Sir,
I hope this meets you well. We have been asking that you train and retrain your team. We have been saying tool and retool your team. We advised the teams themselves being young, mostly inexperienced but highly carried away by the (temporal) power of state-management and positions that they hold for us in trust, to be humble and learn.
Your Excellency, your team – #GYBites, #NewDirection, #TeamGYB, #LittleWhiteLions/Lionesses – they curse us to high heavens. In fact, personally, they have called some of us and the elderstatesmen and women of Kogi unprintable names.
I said this just recently; “The Kogi the GYBites are biting today did not start neither will it end with them, they should use the great opportunity you have freely handed to them to work hard, redefine the state, your leadership and position themselves for greatness now, and in their respective futures.
Your Excellency, your team, Sir, I believe is one of your greatest undoing. In a small, challenged and under developed state we should be in love not in fear of our leader (You).
To the issue trending wildly and globally; what were your teams’ strategies to contain or disseminate information to the world while the exercise of recall was on? Just an example Sir, your Chief Publicist et al, who should be guarding your back strategically to contain any ‘damage’ that might arise, has unfortunately made news and caught the worst kind of attention for himself as being neck deep on the field, acquiring thugs and gun firing.
Your Excellency, I do not think you are a ‘bad’ leader because by my training,  ‘Leaders Are Not Born, But Made…’, through grooming, training, the ability to learn, a greatly experienced, well trained team and hardwork.
Your Excellency, I seek your most kind protection in advance from the usual insults this type of objective letter normally draws from your team.
May God be with you and may He grant us all good health and wisdom.
I wish you well in the management of our statecraft.
– Erelu Ronke Bello, Ph.D
