The 30th Amana of Kakanda Muye, Alhaji Abdulquadri Mohammadu Maigari paid an historical visit to the Maigari of Lokoja, His Royal Majesty, Alh. (Dr.) Muhammadu Kabiru Maikarfi III in his Palace today, Sunday, 23rd June, 2019.
The Maigari of Lokoja while admonishing the Amana charged him to uphold truth and fairness in dealing with his subjects and most importantly, be patient with them. He enjoined him to build bridges amongst them and be royally in his conduct.
While further assuring him of his moral support and guidance, the Maigari prayed that the Stool of Amana be upgraded soonest as it is long overdue.
Earlier, the Amana of Kakanda Muye thanked the Maigari of Lokoja for his magnanimity in treating indigenous Muye people with so much respect and recognition by appointing them into his Council of Chiefs especially into high ranking positions of Maga’jin Garin Lakwaja, Makama, Wali, Sarauniyan Mata etc. He assured the Maigari that the confidence reposed in them will never be betrayed.
The 30th Amana of Kakanda Muye was born on the 5th of January, 1968 to the family of late Mall. Muhammad Sidi Salisu Muye and Hajiya Fatima Binta Musa Minjibir as a lineage of late Amana Muhammad Agabu (1898-1904); the first Amana Kakanda to be presented with the Staff of Office in 1901.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Nasarawa State University, Keffi and Masters Degree in Public Policy Analysis in view from the same University.
