I Ayomide Otitoloju, the Chairman of the Okun Youth Foundation, is using this medium to greet those who will be present at the Ogidi Day celebration.
We members of Okun Youth Foundation want the celebration to be a peaceful one.
It will also be a day in which our people both at home and abroad will be celebrated.
Okun land is a community where people live in peace and harmony and our culture is something we cherish.
The Ogidi Day will serve as a medium to empower the youth and give them opportunities of knowing more about handiwork.
We are therefore appealing to the Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yaya Bello to support the youths in Okun land. We want the governor to create centers where youths can learn more about computer, photography, fashion designing.
If the government can provide jobs for the youth it will put an end to laziness and crimes in the community.
Also, the government should provide social amenities such as schools, water, good road, electricity. Government should also pay the salaries of workers on time.
Finally, as the chairman of this great foundation, I will support youths in the community with empowerment programmers and ensure that the Ogidi celebration is celebrated peacefully.
Once again, I say congratulations to you all.
Thanks.
