The leadership of the Kogi West 4 Tinubu & Karimi Re-election Project, (KW-TAKREP) has described Senator Sunday Karimi’s victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary as a triumph of democracy and the collective resolve of the people of Kogi West.
Kogi State clergy and political activist Stanley Ajileye, in a statement titled “Vox Populi, Vox Dei : The Voice of the People is the Voice of God,” issued on behalf of the group, said the outcome of the primary election reaffirmed the enduring truth that when people unite behind a common cause, they become an unstoppable force.
He noted that the victory was far greater than an individual political success, stressing that it symbolized the determination of the people to shape their own political destiny.

“The victory of Senator Karimi is not merely a personal triumph. It is a victory for the people of Kogi West, a victory for democracy, and a clear demonstration that unity, courage, and determination can overcome even the most entrenched political challenges,” he said.
According to him, the primary election reflected the collective voice of the people, who peacefully asserted their democratic rights and reaffirmed that political authority ultimately resides with the electorate.
Ajileye commended the people of Kogi West for standing together throughout the process and applauded the APC for conducting a process that reflected the wishes of party members.
While celebrating the outcome, he urged party supporters not to regard the primary election as the final destination, warning that greater commitment would be required ahead of the general election.
“The task before us now is to remain united and vigilant. We must defend our mandate, protect our votes, and ensure that the will of the people prevails in the general election,” he stated.
He called on all stakeholders, party faithful, youths, women, and community leaders to sustain the spirit of solidarity that produced victory at the primary, saying the future of Kogi West depends on continued cooperation and shared purpose.
Expressing appreciation on behalf of the leadership of the Kogi West 4 Tinubu & Karimi Re-election Project, Ajileye thanked supporters, volunteers, and stakeholders for their commitment and sacrifices, describing them as the driving force behind the successful outing.
He concluded by expressing confidence that the unity demonstrated during the primary election would translate into an even greater victory at the polls.
“Our unity is our greatest strength. Together, we have spoken with one voice. Together, we shall defend that voice and, by the grace of God, secure victory once again for Kogi West, the APC, and Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
