The return bid of the serving member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Idrisu Lawal got a major boost on Sunday with the endorsement of Ganaja and Kwararafa communities.
Hon. Idrisu Lawal is the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Reps candidate for the February 16 National Assembly election.
Addressing the press after an enlarged meeting of the two communities, Samari Usman, spokesman of the communities, commended the lawmaker for his approach to representation, a style he noted has attracted gains to the constituents.
According to the communities, they cannot forget in a hurry the efforts by the lawmaker to grade roads in the communities.
Aside empowerment to youths and the women of the communities, the lawmaker was applauded for his educational assistance and scholarship to indigent students of the communities.
While noting that the communities having seen the good works performed by the lawmaker, declared the area a no go area for other contestants, as they have all agreed to vote massively for the APC.
The communities urged the lawmaker to be spurred by the support of the communities for him to do more for them, and asked that he complete the good work he has started in his efforts to make Ajaokuta Steel Plant work.
The communities notes that if operational, the steel plant will create employment for it teeming youths.
