Aiteo Cup: Ibrahim Enesi Revels in Kogi United’s Heroics After Inspiring Niger Tornadoes Upset

Kogi United striking sensation, Ibrahim Enesi has disclosed that his recent goal scoring form in the ongoing Aiteo Cup was down to confidence, self believe and wished to build on it.
The young striker who graduated from the youth rank of Kogi United has being in fine form recently, helping his side to reach Round of 16 of Aiteo Cup with his lone goal against last year’s finalist Niger Tornadoes in Round 32 clash on Sunday.
Enesi who dedicated his winning goal to his elder brother who just got married a day earlier however called on the teaming fans to rally the team to achieve greatness.
“I thank God for the confidence, the coach has been an immense encouragement to me, I’m grateful for being giving the chance to play and score, I’m happy with my confidence I make sure I don’t joke with any chance that come my way because its very to get those chances in games, may be the self confidence was the one I’m lacking before, but its with me now and I want to continue to improve.
“I urge our fans and supporters to keep on praying for us, believe in us and we will always make them proud.
“My goal today is dedicated to my brother, Haruna Sule, he got married yesterday, I could have been there to show my support to him for his encouragement to me and my career,” he said.
