The Elders and stakeholders of Ankpa LGA, under the umbrella body of Ankpa District Development Union has appointed Hon. Ahmed Mohammed as Chairman governing council, Ankpa District Community Grammar School.
This was unanimously agreed in a stakeholder meeting which was presided by the Chairman, Alhaji Isah Adejoh.
The Secretary and representative of the Proprietor, Ankpa Community Grammar School, Mallam Abdulmalik Zakari, said Ahmed Mohammed has always been there for them in time of needs.
“He has assisted the school on several occasions and has recently moved a motion of urgent public importance on the floor of the house calling on the state government to rehabilitate and equip community secondary school, Opulega-Ankpa LGA.
“He is a philantropist and with this appointment, he automatically becomes a major stakeholder in the school,” he said.
The Onu-Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar also commend the efforts of the Deputy Majority Leader and assures him of their support and prayers anytime.
Honorable Ahmed in his acceptance speech, thanked the elders for such an opportunity and assured them to always put the interest of his people first.
