Africa Youth Growth Foundation Delivers Commodities to Designated Facilities in Kogi

The Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF) has concluded supportive supervision and monitoring visits to communities in 111 wards, covering 10 local government areas in Kogi state.

Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja on Friday, the AYGF communication and mobilization officer, Mallam Ahmed Suleiman explained that the monitoring visits was to build the capacity of community volunteers.

Suleiman said AYGF has provided technical support to the community volunteers on the current version of ANRiN App.

“We carried out physical verification of volunteers and delivered commodities on the seven key interventions to the designated facilities for the Provision of AYGF/ANRiN services to children of age 0-5 years, pregnant and lactating mothers to curb malnutrition in the state and country.

“This very all important World Bank funded program given for free to target beneficiaries of over 1.5 million in Kogi state commenced on the 22nd of Feb.and ended on the 2nd of March 2022,” he said.
