Adurodija Heads Confluence Business Directory Implementation Committee

Director of digital and printing services in the Kogi state ministry of information, Mr Ebenezer Adurodija has been appointed chairman of the committee saddled with the responsibility of implementing the Confluence Business Directory (CBD) platform.

Inaugurating the CBD implementation committee in his office on Monday, commissioner for information and communication, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo charged the team to actualize the vision of Governor Yahaya Bello by making the platform a success.

He charged the committee to work round the clock and enlist not less than ten thousand business enterprises before the end of the year 2020.

Fanwo noted that his office has carefully selected people of proven integrity and capacity to drive traffic into the CBD platform which is designed to herald the growth and development of business enterprises operating within the state.

In his response, Adurodija pledged the readiness of the committee to surpass the target by end of the year. He, however, requested for logistics support to make the work and operation smooth and efficient.

A member of the committee and vice president of Kogi State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KOCCIMA), Dr Demiloye Akerejola assured the commissioner of the chamber’s active involvement and participation.

Other members of the implementation committee are; Richard Alabi, Alhaji Ojo Oyila, Pastor Dayo Thomas, Mrs Fatima Sani and representatives of National Association of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises, Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Recall that the online business directory was unveiled by Governor Bello on October 1, as part of activities to mark this year’s independence day celebrations.
