ADC is Set to Take Over Kogi – Oggah

The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi state, Hon. Kingsley Oggah has declared that the party is prepared to take over the state.

Oggah, who made this known while addressing pressmen in Lokoja, stated that Kogi state lack development and infrastructure.

“Looking at the maladministration and all that has been happening in the state over the last three years, we have resolved to take over the mantle of leadership in the state and deliver the best of what good governance entails to the people.

“The African Democratic Congress is set to take over power in Kogi state. I distinctly know that our party will make a great impact as regards people oriented development.

“To some people it is difficult but the truth is our party is set to take charge of the affairs of the state. But I must say ADC is the only alternative for the people of Kogi state.

“Kogi state is blessed with a lot of resources and we can no longer sit and watch things been swept away, this is the time for proper action to be taken.

“Our primary election is slated for September and we will produce one of the best candidates who can boldly fly the party ticket,” he said.

Oggah assured that the party primary election will be transparent, free, fair and credible.

ADC pulled a big surprise in Kogi state during the recently conducted general elections by defeating both Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) to win Yagba House of Representatives seat.
