Former governorship candidate, Dr Emmanuel Enesi Ozigi, on Friday, commenced distribution of Ramadan packages and foodstuffs to Muslim faithful across the five local government areas of Kogi Central senatorial district.
While presenting the Ramadan welfare to the Muslim ummah, Dr. Emanuel Ozigi, one of the leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi Central senatorial district, said he is encouraged by the steadfastness of his Muslim brothers and sisters. He urged them to commit the nation at large into God’s hands for peace, unity and harmony.
“I am always encouraged by the zeal of our brothers and sisters during the Ramadan period. Your steadfastness is truly amazing and impressive. Therefore, I urge you all to use this Holy month of Ramadan to pray for Ebira nation and Nigeria at large. Let us also commit ourselves to unity which is our greatest asset as a people,” Ozigi said.

The business mogul and philanthropist lamented the poor state of economy of Nigeria, noting that it has become necessary for Nigerians of privilege to continue to stand in the gap for one another.
