The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State successfully affirmed Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo) as the party’s candidate for the Adavi East Constituency in the State House of Assembly following the primary elections.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee for the All Progressives Congress (APC) delegation declared the primary election process free, fair, and credible.
The Electoral Chairman appreciated the residents of the five wards that comprise the Adavi East Constituency for their exemplary conduct.
The primary election, which resulted in the emergence of Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo) as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, was commended by returning officers and community leaders for being free from violence and coercion.
In his brief speech, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo) expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah for making this victory a reality, adding that the mandate is for the people of Adavi East Constituency.
Hon. Muhammed Wazo commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his exemplary leadership, quality representation, and people-centric development projects, while assuring residents that Adavi Local Government will deliver massive votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
