The Administrator of Adavi local government council, Hon. Abu Enesi Ajoge has rejoiced with Muslims and Christians in Adavi as we celebrate the births of Prophet Muhammed and Jesus Christ.
In a congratulatory message signed by the administrator himself, today, he stated that he shares in their joy but advised them to emulate the two prophets’ virtues by living together in peace and harmony.
The administrator noted the co-incidence in this year’s celebration of the births of the two religious leaders, saying the global celebrations of the Maolud Nabbiy and Christmas could never have been by accident.
According to him: “It is rather an act of God, divinely designed as a pointer to the imperative need for religious tolerance.
This, no doubt, will surely bring harmony and unity that guarantees a peaceful co-existence if we must progress as a people created by the Almighty God.
