The Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has described the appointment of Alh. Musa Suberu Eneida as the Ward Head of Abuga in Okengwe district of Okene Local Government as one that was inspired and directed by God Almighty.
Hon. Abdulrazaq made the remark when the newly appointment Ward Head led his people on a courtesy visit to the Administrator at the Council Secretariat in Okene.
“I have not met him before but his good work speak volumes, people talk about his efforts in community development and after his appointment, I have continued to receive commendations from within and outside his community. I am glad I didn’t made mistake. I am glad I chose the right person and I assure you, we will continue to count on your wealth of experience, efforts and ideas in our quest to move the Local Government forward,” the council boss said.
He enjoined Eneida to work closely with stakeholders and other community leaders to maintain peace and tranquility in his domain.
The Administrator who was elated by the overwhelming support enjoyed by the new ward head and having performed creditably well during the short period of probation, directed that his appointment be confirmed from acting capacity to substantive ward head of Abuga.
Earlier in his address, the new ward head of Abuga, Alh. Musa Suberu Eneida said they have come to thank the Local Government Administrator and express their profound gratitude to the Council leader on the honour bestowed on him.
The former veteran musician turn community leader promised to work diligently with the government and discharge his duties effectively in the interest of humanity and with fear of Allah.
Good will messages were also delivered by elders, the women and youths that accompanied him on the visit.
