A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Hon. Abdulmumini Ibrahim has congratulated the member representing Ankpa, federal constituency, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims on his emergence as Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Abdulmumini said Halims’ emergence as a principal officer in the House of Reps has made true his promises to the electorate in Ankpa federal constituency during the electioneering campaigns.
Abdulmumini, a former lawmaker, recalled that he encouraged the electorate to re-elect Halims to position him in vintage position to become a principal officer in the National Assembly.
He described the new Deputy Majority Leader as true representative of the people who will never shy away from their yearnings and aspirations.
He expressed confidence in Halims’ capacity to make the new position count for the nation and Ankpa federal constituency.
