The Honourable AbdulAzeez Idris King Education Foundation has paid the 2022 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) fee’s for hundreds of students in Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency, Kogi state.
Addressing a beneficiaries at his GRA Okene residence over the weekend, Idris King said decision to pay the registration fees was to assist children of the poor to get quality education and acquire knowledge to break shackles of poverty in the society.
The former House of Reps member also identified education as the panacea for addressing societal ills such as banditry, armed robber, political thugery and other vices.
Honorable King, who is currently Kogi state representative at the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), appealed to other prominent individuals and corporate organizations to assist the society through provision of infrastructures development and human capacity building as the government can not shoulder all responsibilities.
He stressed that efforts should be made to build a society that will guarantee peace and security of the community.
Hon Idris King used the avenue to call on Kogites to support Governor Yahaya Bello’s presidential ambition for a new and prosperous Nigeria.
He applauded Governor Bello for his commitment in tackling insecurity, unemployment and embarking on massive infrastructural development across Kogi state.
He added that with these feats, the governor can conveniently lead the country to greater heights.
