A political movement, the DIO Believe Network, has described its principal, Dr. Omede Idris, as a passionate lover of humanity.
In a goodwill message on Tuesday to celebrate Dr Omede on his birthday anniversary, the DIO Believe Network said the former National President of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) is an eminent and responsible Kogite.
The message signed by Yusuf Yakubu and Mohammed Lawal Okai said Dr Omede has demonstrated love, integrity, humility and interest for human capacity development, community and state growth and development under a peaceful and harmonious environment and ecosystem, in his own little ways.
“His believe that these are possible through understanding and superior presentation on interests and approaches to situations and issues, devoid of acrimony in the not too distant future will manifest through patience.
“His quest and call for cooperation, appraisal and objective criticism of the government as situation demands are necessary for progress.
“At the moment, with election related issues over in Kogi state, and at federal, it is indeed period to join thoughts with the government to deliver good governance product to the people. Kogites and Nigerians should imbibe and practice politics of growth, development, security and unity of purpose for the majority of the people. This should be a good recipe and lessons for all gladiators and interest groups,” the group said.
The DIO Believe Network saluted Dr Omede Idris, a former Commissioner for Health in Kogi State, for his matured approach to issues.
