What You Give People Is What They Will Give You

In a world gasping for kindness, the law of reciprocity remains one of life’s loudest truths—what you give people is what they will give you. Whether love or hate, respect or insult, seeds sown into human hearts never die barren. Like mirrors, people reflect back to us what we deposit in them.

Those who plant peace in others often reap peace in strange places. “With the measure you use, it will be measured back to you,” said Jesus in Luke 6:38. Even science calls it karma; nature calls it balance; scripture calls it justice. No one pours poison and expects perfume in return.

In homes, when fathers give affection, sons grow to give loyalty. When leaders sow oppression, they reap rebellion. The hands you lift today may be the ones to lift you tomorrow. Giving is not always money; sometimes it’s a smile, a truth, or a chance.

Prophet T.B. Joshua once said, “What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.” Life is not a container but a channel. Pour wisely.

So next time you meet someone, remember—your actions are seeds. And the harvest never lies.
