My Name is Àjàyí Kayode from Kogi state. In 2004, I had an accident that almost took my life if not for God Mercy. This accident that happened at Kabawa in Lokoja fractured my left thigh bone and I was taken to specialist Hospital now FTH Lokoja I left the Hospital the 4th day to go for native orthopedic treatment. I was placed in my residence and the first Man, one Affa from kabawa was employed to do it. After about 2 months, there was no improvement.

I later ended up discharged the affa and another igalla man was introduced. This 2nd Man promised to do my leg. He assured me that he handled a more severe cases of fractures. For over 2 months again, after buy this pay for this & that, no changes. I got tired & paid the man off. I went back to the same Hospital & they recommended surgery. Later I heard that there was somebody at Ikare Ondo state who can treat my leg. That was how I gathered myself along with my wife to Ikare.

I was at Ikare for almost 6 months nothing happened. My leg still remained dangling, I lived on God & peoples’ mercy. From IKare to about 2 months in kabba was another hell. I was suffering from one place to another. I later came back to Lokoja, went back to the same hospital and surgery was suggested by one orthopedic specialist. The charges was another problem. Where can I get such money after all this while. I was on this when I met someone who introduced me to ECWA Hospital Ẹgbẹ Kogi state, the charges and the conditions was far less to the former and I came back to look for money.

THE SURGERY.

After a year of this accident that caused this fracture, the bone of my thigh was not joined, different local bone doctors came & used me and left & I went from one place to the other without any solution to my leg. I myself knew that I was risking amputation for allowing this to be going on for that long.
At last I went to Ẹgbẹ ECWA Hospital and the surgery was performed.

On the day of this surgery, I went to the gate of heaven knocking for an Angel to just open the door and let me in but I was not permitted. I later recovered and back to life. The pain was so excruciating that I started cursed the doctors for inflicted such pains on me. I started putting blames on myself for allowed the doctors to tore my flesh with all those there instruments. Haa, the pains for the first week that come along with malaria was so terrible, haaa!!

My people, it was this type of pains I passed through before I could today stand on my legs and do everything for myself and I give thanks to Almighty God.

Just like my own story so is our Nation Nigeria. Nigeria is just exactly what happened to me, the way it happened, how I went about it and the surgery. Nigeria has passed through all promises of I can do it , I can fix it by our past leaders but they failed to perform the required surgery Nigeria Nation needed to regain her legs back. The surgery was long overdue because those past leaders were afraid of the pains, they don’t want pains, so they just managed the fracture.

TINUBU and THE SURGERY.

Just like my Doctor at Ẹgbẹ who who knew that I must pass thru all the pains but still went ahead to did the surgery on my leg in the year 2006 that made me to got my legedis Benz back, so is PBAT who knew that the solution to Nigeria problems is Surgery that comes with heavy pains but still went ahead to did it. He did the surgery by the removal of fuel subsidy. The removal of fuel subsidy, just like a surgery, has brought an excruciating pains to Nigeria herself and all Nigerian. Truly, the pains has come in high price of commodity, transportation & food hike, and touched everywhere.

NO PAIN–NO GAIN.

The earlier we realized that no pain no gains the better for us to be able to brace up & come together to endure the pains. We must learn to endure the pains now so that we can enjoy the gains together in the nearest future.

This is not the time to be condemning Tinubu, this is not the time to be calling for returning of the subsidy, this is not the time to blame anybody anymore.

This is the time to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This is the time to be praying for our Leaders. This the Time to trust in God Almighty.

Let us come together in Unity and endure the pains to enjoying the Gains.
