A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Otunba Olayemi Adeniyi, on Friday, paid a condolence visit to Senator Smart Adeyemi over the death of his mother, Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi.
Adeyemi’s mother passed on in Abuja, on Wednesday.
Otunba Olayemi expressed deep sadness over the passing of the late matriarch.
He told Senator Adeyemi to see death as a necessary end and an eternal sacrifice which every being must pay, and urged him to have the fortitude to bear his mother’s loss.
He encouraged the senator to take solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life with the children she left behind making profound contributions to society.
Otunba Olayemi noted that although Princess Victoria Adeyemi is gone, her legacy of hard work, commitment, and dedication to the word of God will continue to linger with those whose paths crossed hers while she was alive.
“May you find comfort in the memories of her love and wisdom. The values of discipline, compassion and servic that Mama epitomized will live on in our hearts,” he consoled.
