Following the successful celebration of his one year on the throne, the Elulu of Mopa, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun has extended his heartfelt appreciation to all that celebrated with him.
The Elulu in a statement read:
“It is with great gratitude to God Almighty, gods of our land, our ancestors that I appreciate the entire people of Mopa, Mopa Traditional Council (MTC), Mopamuro Traditional Council inclusive.
“Kogi State Traditional Council, I can’t appreciate you all better. Thank you, Your Majesties and Highnesses and Chiefs.
“Kogi State Government has been led by His Excellency, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo. Thank you for all you do for our people in Kogi State.
“The one year on the throne anniversary we celebrated will not be successful without the support of the entire people of Mopa for their support, criticisms, and corrections.
“The historic visit of Ooni of Ife, Aarole Oodua, Oba Babatunde Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi is a milestone that we have collectively achieved. Let us continue to have this kind of support for the development of our land.
“I also use this opportunity to appreciate everyone who has worked and is still working with the traditional council for the development of our land and the progress we have achieved.
“We understand with dissenting voices, we urge that they should bury their hatchets. We have opened arms to welcome all persons for the good of Mopa.
“Mopa is great. Let’s make it greater together as we are all responsible for it.”
