A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Senator Abubakar Ohere, has commiserated with the people and government of Kogi state over the death of some persons in an auto crash at Okunchi, Ogaminana on the night of Easter Monday.
Sen. Ohere, in a condolence message made available to journalists, specifically commiserated with the Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Usman Ododo and the families of the departed victims,
“I am very sad about the news of the death of passengers in an accident that occurred in Okunchi on Monday night. I mourn and pray for the repose of the dead and pray to Almighty Allah to grant the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss”, he said.
The APC Chieftain added, “I also commiserate with our grand leader, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Kogi State Governor, Alh. Usman Ododo and the entire Kogi people. I pray such a sad incident will not occur again”.
While wishing all those injured in the crash quick recovery and safe return to their various families after medical treatments in the hospitals, he expressed sadness about the number of souls lost in the accident.
