The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Miller Dantawaye, has assured the state chapter of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) of the command’s commitment to providing the necessary support and maintaining a cordial working relationship with the Labour Union.
Dantawaye gave the assurance when he received a delegation from the Nigerian Labour Congress led by Council Chairman, Comrade Gabriel Amari, in Lokoja on Tuesday.
He also reaffirmed the Command’s readiness to collaborate with the NLC in areas of mutual interest for the betterment of the state.
In his remarks, Comrade Amari stated that the primary purpose of the visit was to foster and strengthen the relationship between the Nigeria Police Force and the Labour Union in the State.

Amari further emphasized the importance of collaboration in ensuring peace, security, and the promotion of workers’ welfare across the state.
He promised that the Kogi State Labour Union will continue to partner with the Police to ensure law and order prevail in the State.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing willingness to work together towards peace, progress, and development in Kogi State.
