House of Representative member representing the Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem on Sunday attended church thanksgiving service at Mountain of Wonders (Oke Iyanu) ministry in Ogigiri-Ajaokuta to offer prayers for former Governor Yahaya Bello and to thank God for the recent electoral successes of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The lawmaker expressed gratitude for the APC’s victories across all electoral levels, including the Presidential, Governorship, House of Representatives, House of Assembly, and the recently concluded Chairmanship election.

The pastor appreciated the visit of the lawmaker, and while describing such step as uncommon he emphasized that “the importance of the church not just as a place of worship but as an institution that nurtures societal values and development.

While commending the pastor for his dedication to prophetic duties, Hon Sanni Egidi expressed appreciation for the pastor’s prayers for the current Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, and for the Ajaokuta Local Government Area.

The lawmaker listed the notable contributions and achievements of former Governor Yahaya Bello in all parts of Kogi State, calling on the congregation to pray for the formal Governor, who he described as having made a significant mark in history amidst challenges posed by political rivals. “F-GYB has written his name in the sands of time, but is currently facing adversities from competitors and detractors,” he remarked.

An elderly woman from the congregation offered a poignant metaphor, stating that “Former Governor Bello dug a well, which may contain unclear water as result of the process; the current water in that well is Governor Ahmed Ododo, the clean water who was brought forth as a successor.” hence we shall continue to pray for Gov Bello as our emancipator. She added.

The service culminated into a fervent prayer session led by the pastor, during which both the lawmaker and the congregation vowed to continue praying for former Governor Bello, incumbent Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo as well as for all leaders in Ajaokuta and Kogi State entirely.
