The Executive Director of BEBM Exhibitions, Hon Oladipo Makakese Bayode, has hailed the Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, on his giant strides, redefining leadership with his visionary approach, compassionate heart, and unwavering commitment to the progress of the nation.
Hon. Bayode gave the commendation in Lokoja while celebrating Nigeria at 64 with stakeholders and captains of Industries.
He recalled how Prince Audu, with Governor Usman Ododo, rose to the occasion when the #EndBadGovernance protest threatened to engulf Kogi state, leveraging his foundation’s grassroots connections to engage with the youth.
The BEBM Executive Director said Prince Audu’s message of hope and empowerment resonated with many, calming tensions and preventing chaos.
“Prince Audu’s ability to connect with the youth is unparalleled. He has earned the people’s trust and loyalty.
“His agricultural initiative has transformed Kogi State’s landscape. The distribution of 4,000 bags of rice and fertilizers has boosted food security, empowered farmers, and aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Prince Audu’s dedication to agriculture is revitalizing our economy. The Ajaokuta Steel Company, once moribund, is now roaring back to life under Prince Audu’s leadership. The minister’s vision for a steel-driven economy is creating jobs, stimulating growth, and repositioning Kogi State as a hub for industrial development.
“Prince Audu’s steel initiative will transform Nigeria’s industrial landscape,” he said.
Hon Bayode said through education, skills training, and empowerment programs, Prince Audu has been equipping Kogi State’s youth with tools for success, adding that his foundation’s scholarships and mentorship initiatives has inspired a new generation of leaders.
He urged the minister to sustain the tempo as his legacy will endure, inspiring future generations to lead with compassion, vision, and courage.
