A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi state, Hon. Sani Idawko Philips has described those calling for the suspension of Senator Dino Melaye from the party as fictitious and phantom.
Idakwo stated that the claims and assertions of the fictitious and phantom group “PDP Elders Elders Forum” led by an unknown Ibrahim Dansofo of Senator Melaye being responsible for the misfortune of the party is mischievous and a figment of their wild imaginations.
He made these known in a statement on Monday.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Sen Dino Melaye ran the most spirited, successful and impactful campaign ever in the history of the PDP in Kogi State.
“The so called fictitious and phantom group “PDP Elders” are the ones responsible for the misfortunes of the party in the state owing to their useless ethnic bigotry syndrome which is like a disease from birth,” he said.
Idakwo advised the group to desist forthwith from making further statements capable of diminishing whatever fortune is left of the party in state.
