Kogi State Council of National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has congratulated Governor Usman Ododo on his victory at the Supreme Court.
In a landmark judgement on Friday in Abuja, the Supreme Court of Nigeria affirmed Ododo as the duly elected Governor of Kogi State.
In a statement signed by the Chairman, Comrade Umar Suleiman Bako, NANNM said the apex court’s verdict is a well deserved victory, affirming the popular wishes of the people of Kogi State.
NANNM said the supreme court verdict will serve as a tonic for accelerated development across the state, especially in the health sector.
The Association said with litigations settled, all Kogites should join hands with Governor Ododo to move the state forward.
