The Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the fifth Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, on his victory at the Supreme Court.
In a statement on Saturday, POHAN said the landmark decision marked the end of all legal disputes surrounding his election, allowing Governor Ododo to dedicate himself fully to the critical task of leading Kogi State and ensuring that every citizen feels the impact of real governance.
The statement signed by Dr. Joy Asonye, the Director, Media, and Publicity, POHAN said it is confident that this legal closure will enable Ododo to focus solely on providing effective leadership and governance for the benefit of all Kogi citizens.
“As the parent organization representing both former and serving public office holders across Nigeria, POHAN recognizes the significance of this victory for Governor Ododo and the people of Kogi State.
“Governor Ododo, as a default member of POHAN, has demonstrated remarkable simplicity and an unassuming nature, qualities that are highly regarded by our association. His commitment to governance and service has been evident since his assumption of office,” she said.
In his congratulatory message, the National President of POHAN, Bashorun MD Eseyin, Ph.D., emphasized that all actions taken by Governor Ododo since assuming office indicate a strong readiness for real governance.
“Governor Ododo’s approach and dedication are clear signs that he is prepared to lead with integrity and purpose,” said Dr. Eseyin.
“POHAN is eager to partner with Governor Ododo as he rolls up his sleeves for the demanding work of governance. We stand ready to support his administration in its efforts to deliver impactful and transformative leadership to the people of Kogi State.”
