Kogi state governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, has congratulated the state Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja, on his 49th birthday.
In a statement signed by his media adviser, Dayo Thomas, the SDp governorship candidate described Onoja’s birthday as a milestone, saying the celebrant has garnered considerable achievements as an astute politician and leader whose contributions to the development of Kogi State is immense.
“As you mark another year. It is a great privilege to be a year older and waxing strong in the service of the people. I therefore join your well wishers to congratulate you and pray for many happy returns of this special day. May God continue to renew your strength per time as I wish you a happy birthday, long life and prosperity,” the SDP gubernatorial candidate said.
Ajaka, who has since launched his campaign ahead of the Kogi State governorship poll, called on all Kogi indigenes at home and the diaspora to join him in celebrating Onoja whose political sagacity he described as rare.
Ajaka prayed that God Almighty grants Onoja many more multiple years to continue to render service to his state and country.
