He stated that “as you celebrate the Eid-ed-Kabir, I implore you to fervently pray for our dear state and country, Nigeria. Let the teachings of Prophet Muhammad guide our thoughts, deeds and dealings with one another.

“It is very important that we remain united and committed to the dreams and aspirations of our founding fathers.

“We must remember that we have no other country or state. Let our diversity be our strength; strength to love one another, strength to endure the teething problems associated with the removal of fuel subsidy and other economic hiccups.”

He further noted that the Kogi State governorship election is slated November 11th and has also urged kogites to support him, sensitise others on the need for everyone to come out and vote.

“Your vote is your meal ticket to good governance. I have offered myself to serve you better. We need to retrieve Kogi State from the web of pains and bad governance.

Be arrest assured that you will smile again with my style of governance, if elected. My campaign promise of putting our dear state on the global map is still intact and it is doable”

He however stressed that “we will take our pride because I know how dogged, educated and committed we are as people.

“I am not a man of violence. I will not encourage you to be violent. Vigorously Campaign for All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the most civilised way because I know we have the numerical strength to overwhelmingly win the election.”
