Governor Yahaya Bello has appointed Justice Josiah Majebi as the Acting Chief Judge.
Swearing in Majebi in Lokoja on Monday, Gov. Bello charged the acting chief judge to discharge justice without fear or favour.
While he described the Acting Chief Judge as a man of impeccable character, the Governor urged him to sustain the feat, assuring the judiciary of the present administration support.
Speaking at the occasion, Justice Josiah Majebi assured of quick dispensation of justice under his leadership.
He promised to uphold the tenet of an unbiased judiciary under his watch.
Justice Josiah Majebi takes over from Justice Olorunfemi who retired on Sunday, 26th June 2022 after clocking 65 years.
