Barely one week after ten students were expelled for examination misconduct, the academic board of Kogi State Polytechnic has shown another set of 15 students the exit door from the citadel of learning for similar offence.

Their expulsion followed the consideration of the report of the Central Examination Misconduct Committee by the academic board in Lokoja on Thursday.

According a statement signed by the polytechnic’s head of Public Relations and Protocol Unit, Mrs Uredo Omale, the fifteen students were found to have contravened relevant sections of the students’ information handbook and were variously recommended by the central examination committee for disciplinary action as a deterrent measure to others.

“The offences ranged from impersonation, bringing of illicit materials that were relevant to the examination into the examination hall, and others,” the statement said.
