The Catholic Bishop of Idah Diocese, His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Ademu Adaji has commended Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State for his staunch security portfolio and his lofty successes in fostering the peaceful coexistence being enjoyed in the State.

The revered cleric spoke when he recieved in audience the State Deputy Governor, Dr. Edward Onoja, who paid him a courtesy visit at his Idah residence on Thursday.

He was accompanied by the Chairman of Idah LGA, Hon. Abuh Odoma, his Vice, Hon. Zuweirat Aminu, State Assembly Members, and other government functionaries.

Welcoming his guests, Bishop Adaji applauded the synergy shared between the Government and the Church in Kogi State, saying Governor Bello has sutured his Leadership along priority basis of just, fair, and equitable representation of the people.

He said statuses that formerly conferred on not just Idah and Ankpa LGAs alone, but Kogi East and entire State as the hotbed for unabated crime such as cultism, kidnapping, burglary, road and bank robberies have changed to statuses of relative peace and calm, courtesy of Governor Bello’s airtight security measures put in place to forestall them.

Insisting that only a secured environment can guarantee ease of businesses and investments, he upheld that Governor’s laudable successes are traceable to the strategic and working relationship he shares with his Executive Chairmen presiding over the 21 LGAs of the State, highlighting that of Idah LGA, Hon. Abuh Odoma and Ankpa Chairman as a critical instance.

Bishop Adaji commended Chief Onoja, whom he said as a loyal and dependable ally to his principal, plays contributory roles to achievements of the Governor Bello led administration in Kogi state.

The clergyman advised the Governor to sustain his people driven policies poised to bringing increased development to his people, praying that Kogi State continues to thrive on the growth map of unity and prosperity.

His Lordship finally extended an invitation to the Deputy Governor to the 8th National Convention of the All Saints Igala Catholic Community, slated to hold in Anyigba between 4th to 7th November, 2021.
